One step aboard the 80′ Burger yacht M/Y MANTA will transport you into the golden era of yachting. The flush-deck, large outdoor entertaining space, beautiful lines, and golden teak trim, set the classic Burger style apart from modern yachts of similar size. With a spacious grand salon and numerous indoor lounges, 4 cabins and 4 heads, M/Y MANTA is stylish and versatile for a wide range of events. She measures 80 feet in length and 18.5 feet in beam, making her a spacious and stable venue for cruising. She is propelled by twin 720 horsepower Detroit Diesel engines and gets her power from two Northern Lights generators. We maintain our vessel to the highest standards, and safety is our #1 priority. M/Y MANTA is compliant with all U.S. Coast Guard safety standards, and all staff are CPR and First Aid certified.

Outdoor entertaining Spaces

M/Y Manta boasts the best outdoor entertaining spaces of any charter boat in Charleston. All deck spaces that aren’t natural teak are covered in our new premium floor covering called Sea-Dek, which stays cool and is gentle on your feet. Relax with a cocktail on the 10 person couch, catch some sun on the chaise lounges, or kick back in one of our bean bags. On the foredeck, you can watch the world go by in exceptional comfort. The elevated sundeck is just aft of the foredeck and guests can choose to have the sundeck outfitted with either a bean bag lounge, a heated 6 person jacuzzi or cool plunge pool in the summer months. With our new state of art sound system, dolphins bow riding, and drink service, you will not want to leave this signature party space. Moving to the stern, we have the cockpit and swim platform, where we have our designated smoking area and where guests can have easy access to the water in the warmer months. Our top deck plays host to our flybridge and skylounge. With a wraparound couch that comfortably sits 8 people, and bimini to provide relief from the sun, it truly is the best vantage point on the boat. Enjoy conversation with the captain while having the best chance of seeing dolphins around the boat.

On longer charters, enjoy a little swim off of the stern of the boat. Good times guaranteed!

The Main Salon

The largest indoor entertainment area on the boat is the main salon, measuring in at 20’x18′. It hosts three full-sized couches and a table which can comfortably seat 8, and panoramic windows to enjoy the view. This is an ideal space to enjoy gourmet catered food buffet style, or seated dining with full service from a private chef for more formal occasions. Unlike smaller boats, this climate-controlled environment provides a luxurious sanctuary from any inclement weather, whether it’s rain, heat, or wind.

Indoor Spaces

The pilothouse has the warm wood tones you’d expect in a classic nautical chart room. The Captain rarely uses this space, so guests are invited to use the Pilothouse as another lounge for conversing, cocktails, dining, or as an alternate buffet station. With the authentic ship’s wheel and a spare Captain’s hat, you may also feel the urge to get that nautical selfie at the helm station you’ve been looking for. The pilothouse connects the main salon to the dining/conference room. This space gives guests yet another option for dining, presenting buffet food, or an excellent 8 person conference table and big screen TV for business presentations, family slideshow, or sports. The fully equipped galley has abundant counter space, features a microwave, oven, and four burner induction stovetop and oven, where guests can prepare their meals or hire a chef to practice their craft. Bathrooms, or “Heads” as we call them on boats, are equipped with full sized vacuum-flush toilets, sink, and vanity, and are maintained to the highest standards.
